Through various honors and awards, NTCA recognizes tile contractors and tile professionals who have made an impact in the industry.

NTCA Ring of Honor

The NTCA Ring of Honor Award is a lifetime achievement award for an NTCA Contractor Member or Associate Member. The award recognizes someone whose efforts throughout his or her career have not only helped grow NTCA, but have also assisted the association in achieving its objectives.

Joe A. Tarver Award

The Joe Tarver Award is named in honor of Joe A. Tarver, NTCA Executive Director from 1972 -2002. Joe dedicated his career to the growth of the tile and stone industry. This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated lifetime achievement in the support and growth of the overall tile and stone industry.

The NTCA Tile Person of the Year Award recognizes an NTCA Contractor Member or Associate Member who has positively impacted NTCA through participation in its programs.

Tom Ade Ceramic Tile Scholarships

The Tom Ade Ceramic Tile Scholarship was established to provide educational opportunities for children or grandchildren of NTCA members. These scholarships were made possible by longtime NTCA member Tom Ade, a former NTCA regional director and a previous recipient of the NTCA's Ring of Honor and Tile Person of the Year Awards. 

The 2025 winners are:
