NTCA’s leadership encompasses a robust board of directors, an executive director and assistant executive director, and several state ambassadors.
NTCA President – Rod Owen
Rod Owen, Jr. is the CEO of C. C. Owen Tile Company, Inc., with over 30 years of experience in the tile and construction industry. Starting as a Tile Finisher, Rod gained hands-on experience before advancing through roles in field management, project estimating, and operations, ultimately becoming President. As CEO, he focuses on strategic growth, process improvement, and fostering strong, results-driven teams. Rod is known for his ability to deliver exceptional customer service while building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. Rod also has a passion to educate the youth of the opportunities within the construction industry and has served on multiple committees for this purpose.
Outside of work, Rod is a dedicated family man, married for 30 years with four grown children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, snow skiing, and staying active through exercise. Rod is also deeply involved in the community, serving on boards of local organizations and within his local church. His leadership is marked by integrity, respect, and a commitment to both business excellence and personal values.

NTCA Board Of Directors
NTCA’s Board of Directors is elected by members at its annual meeting, held at Total Solutions Plus in the fall of the calendar year. It is comprised of the association’s executive officers, representatives of 12 geographic regions, and
allied members from distribution and tile and installation material manufacturers. NTCA Board of Directors serves two-year terms.
NTCA’s board is actively involved in the overall management of the association and works closely with NTCA staff to carry out a clearly defined strategic plan in order to meet its goals and objectives.
