As a member of the NTCA, there are a number of ways you can become more involved with the association, including becoming an ambassador, joining a committee, or supporting our staff at educational events, workshops or training programs

NTCA Committees
The Technical Committee, responsible for editing and updating the NTCA Reference Manual,
identifies recurring job site problems in the field and addresses them through regularly scheduled meetings. The committee is made up of NTCA members who are contractors, manufacturers, consultants, distributors, and various

The Consumer Education Committee has researched and identified key information that will benefit consumers by creating a stronger awareness of the importance of hiring qualified labor. Chairperson: Bart A. Bettiga • NTCA • bart@tile-assn.com
The Methods and Standards Committee is comprised of residential and commercial tile contractor members. This committee's primary focus is to assess and make suggested revisions to industry standards and methods.

The Business Development Committee is responsible for the development and revision of the NTCA Business Reference Manual. They also identify
new initiatives to assist NTCA members in business management.
Our Training and Education Committee works with our training and education staff to develop training initiatives and provide direction for content, style, and presentation. The Committee works to assist in the creation

Our Convention Planning Committee develops association conference programs and activities at national trade shows and conventions
NTCA Ambassadors
Serving as an NTCA Ambassador is a way to demonstrate your passion for the tile industry and further establish your credentials in the field. NTCA Ambassadors are advocates for the tile industry, for quality tile installations, and
for NTCA. Ambassadors work closely with NTCA staff to promote membership in their region and to support NTCA local events.
Ambassadors are required to be:
Non-proprietary (no brand-name promotions)
Supportive of NTCA educational programs (promoting and attending if at all possible)
With the support of NTCA staff, a local ‘go-to’ for tile installation information
Responsibilities include:
Positively promote qualified labor, certification, and the NTCA
Actively recruit new members
Promote and attend local NTCA training programs
Assist in welcoming new members
Help NTCA stay informed of industry news and events in your area
Participate in periodic conference calls to share ideas and further our efforts to move the industry forward
