NTCA’s leadership encompasses a robust board of directors, an executive director and assistant executive director, and several state ambassadors.

NTCA President – Martin Brookes

Martin Brookes, President of Heritage Marble & Tile Inc., has over 40 years of experience in the tile industry and is an active member of the tile community. He has a strong commitment to the dissemination of best practices in the tile industry, serving as an active member of several industry committees including the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A108 Committee, NTCA Technical Committee, and the NTCA Standards and Methods Committee.

Heritage Marble & Tile Inc., founded by Martin in 1997, is an NTCA Five-Star Contractor (make this a link) and has a staff that includes installers certified by the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF). Martin is an NTCA Recognized Industry Consultant and a member of the Institute of Inspections Certification Restoration Certification as an inspector for stone and ceramic tile.

Martin said, “I have been blessed working in an industry that I love and a family that has supported my professional career.” Martin’s wife, Carmen, is a Psychology professor at UCSF and has also had a successful career in research. He has two children, Joseph and Chloe.

NTCA Board of Directors
NTCA’s Board of Directors is elected by members at its annual meeting, held at Total Solutions Plus in the fall of the calendar year. It is comprised of the association’s executive officers, representatives of 12 geographic regions, and allied members from distribution and tile and installation material manufacturers. NTCA Board of Directors serves two-year terms. 

NTCA’s board is actively involved in the overall management of the association and works closely with NTCA staff to carry out a clearly defined strategic plan in order to meet its goals and objectives.
