The Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) invites applications for the key appointment of Executive Director. CTEF is a 501c3 Foundation that provides education and installer certification for professionals working in the ceramic tile and stone industry, with the mission of ensuring that tile and stone and their related products are installed correctly the first time.
The Executive Director has Profit & Loss and general management responsibility for all operations of the foundation, reporting directly to the Board of Directors of CTEF.
The Director should have an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to expand the activities of CTEF, developing programs and partnerships with a wide range of organizations and individuals.
This position requires ability in a variety of fields:
• marketing and promotion
• consensus building
• general management
• sponsor engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to solve problems and to think and lead strategically. Additionally, a proven track record of managing either a sales program or a company in the construction industry, with an understanding of the tile and stone industry, is preferred.
The Executive Director will work closely with the activities of the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) and Tile Council of North America (TCNA), as well as other industry associations.
The successful applicant will play a significant role in the future development of the tile and stone industry in the United States.
