Martin Howard, the newly installed president of NTCA, is the Executive Vice President of David Allen Company and is an owner of the company.
Martin oversees the Tile, Stone and Pre-Construction Divisions, including all branch operations. He has more than 36 years’ experience in the construction industry including 12 years in general contracting and 24 years in David Allen Company, where he has had management responsibilities in every area of the company’s tile and marble operation. Martin is a highly-regarded expert and consultant in the technical aspects of tile and stone and serves on the National Tile Contractors Association Technical Committee. He also serves on the NTCA committees for Standards and Methods, Training, Education, and Finance, represents the NTCA on the TCNA Handbook Committee, and is an ANSI A108 committee member. Martin has served as an NTCA board member for ten years.
Martin has a broad and deep insight into our industry. He stays informed and is an influence in our industry’s direction and progress. Early on, Martin recognized the huge potential for rain screen systems and the use of large format tile and was one of the first to become technically competent with these systems.

Martin has been a major player in leading his Company to its current prominent industry position.
Martin is married to Judith Howard and the father of two daughters, Alyssa and Danielle.
