NTCA Technical Committee
The NTCA Technical Committee identifies recurring job site problems in the field and addresses them through regularly scheduled meetings. Leading representatives from the entire tile industry comprise the Committee, which is responsible for the development of the NTCA Reference Manual. Its primary focus and concern is to develop documents that assist the tile contractor in problem prevention and resolution, and to support improved communication and professionalism with their customer.

| NTCA Reference Manual
Addresses problem characteristics in common tile and stone installations. Developed in an easy to follow cause, cure and prevention format. The Reference Manual is edited and modified annually by the Technical Committee. Letters of correspondence to address job site issues are included in the Reference Manual as well as association position statements and white papers. A glossary of common industry terms is added as a bonus.
NTCA Business Reference Manual
Available in a digital PDF, the Business Manual was created to assist the tile contractor in critical functions, such as human resources, marketing, strategic planning, and project management. A template of a small business plan is included. Click Here for the NTCA Business Reference Manual.
Methods and Standards Committee
A small collection of residential and commercial tile contractor members of the NTCA participate in the Methods and Standards Committee. The primary focus of this committee is to assess industry standards and methods and to make suggested revisions and edits from a contractor perspective.

Responsible for the financial management of the association for short and long term growth.

Business Development Committee
Responsible for the Business Reference Manual creation and revision, and to identify new initiatives to assist NTCA members in business management.

Training and Education Committee
Develops training initiatives and provides staff direction for content, style and presentation. The Committee works with staff to create physical skills training, digital and video production, continuing education programs, and curriculum content.

Works closely with staff to formal membership recruitment and retention strategies to grow the association. Includes programs to encourage contractor and associate membership growth.

Convention Planning Committee
