Cleveland-based Federal Process Corporation, a diversified building product and specialty chemical manufacturer and marketer, recently acquired Noble Company, a leading American manufacturer of premium-quality building products within the tile, plumbing, heating and cooling, and fire sprinkler industries.
Noble Company, founded in 1946, manufactures premium-quality sheet membranes and shower elements for tile installation, including waterproofing membranes, linear drains, niches/benches, pre-slopes, shower bases, adhesives and sealants for the plumbing and tile industries; engineered antifreeze/heat transfer fluids and accessories for heating/cooling and freeze protection for fire sprinkler systems. The company is headquartered in Spring Lake, Mich., with manufacturing facilities there and in Baton Rouge, La. BlueWater Partners of Grand Rapids, Mich., advised Noble Company in the transaction.
The acquisition adds manufacturing and product depth in support of the Federal Process portfolio of companies, according to Federal Process Corporation President Jon Outcalt, Jr. “Noble’s people and products fit extremely well with Federal Process. We are excited to work together to continue their track record of consistent growth,” he said.
“This is a great opportunity for us at Noble Company,” said Paul S. Kik, Sr., president, Noble Company. “Federal Process has a track record of growing businesses like ours – companies with strong product and brand footprints within core industries.”
Said Lynnette Bloomberg, executive vice president, Noble Company, “We will be able to leverage a much broader sales, marketing, and operational expertise with our team to create a bigger competitive advantage today and in the future.”
